Machining technology

Cut, melt, join.
Seven processes, on our own machines, by our own hands.

OKUMA CNC lathe

01 / 07

CNC Lathe Machining

The work spins against the cutter: round plastic parts, turned to shape.

More details

Our OKUMA LB4000EX-II CNC lathe, installed in 2024, changes the 12 tools on its turret automatically to turn round plastic parts. For volume runs and small batches alike.

In a bright workshop under a white membrane roof, an operator sets up the gantry NC router and lays a white plastic sheet on its bed

02 / 07

NC Router Machining

Two gantry machines cut large sheets to the programmed shape.

More details

Two Shoda gantry NC routers (NCN1200 and NCN1210) that change tools automatically. The NCN1200 has a working range of X3,250 × Y1,710 × Z350 mm (manufacturer's standard specification). Smooth edges with minimal burrs. High-mix, low-volume work, from prototype to production.

Hot-air plastic welding

03 / 07

Plastic Welding

Hot air and a rod of the same plastic fuse the seam. The joint holds.

More details

PVC, PP, PE and more, fused with hot air and a filler rod of the same material for a strong joint. For reinforcement where adhesive is not enough, and for airtight chemical tanks and vacuum vessels.

NC & Manual Turning

NC lathes for production runs, manual lathes for one-offs.

More details

A numerically controlled lathe switches between dozens of cutting tools in a set sequence, adjusting speed and feed to the material. Ideal for volume production and clean curved profiles.

Milling

A rotating cutter for faces, slots and holes. Suited to small quantities.

More details

A multi-tooth cutter for facing, slotting, drilling, side milling and polishing. Quick to set up; ideal for partial machining and small quantities.

09From material to installation

From material to installation.

  1. Material:PVC, PP, PE, PVDF or PEEK sheet, cut to size on a panel saw: up to 3,050 mm square, 45 mm thick.
  2. Machining:Two Shoda gantry NC routers machine the sheet; an OKUMA CNC lathe turns the round parts.
  3. Welding:Hot air and a filler rod of the same material fuse plastic to plastic, for a strong joint.
  4. Assembly:Assembled into tanks, vessels, ducts and sinks, with a final inspection before shipping.
  5. Installation:Delivered in our own trucks, then installed, piped and ducted on site, and maintained by us.
