In 2024 we installed a new CNC lathe. We are adding equipment and widening the work we take on.
People who love making things, people whose children have grown, people who want to keep using their skills after retirement: you do not need special experience or qualifications to join. We are always looking for motivated people.

Fabrication & installation / Plant 2
Much of my work is on site, so I meet a lot of people. I make sure each tank is dimensionally accurate and cleanly finished. The president and senior staff are all kind.

Y. Kitajima
Fabrication / Ryugasaki Office
I work carefully so as not to scratch important products. Customers thank us for what we make, and that is what makes the job rewarding. It is a family-like workplace.

U. Suzuki
Fabrication / Head office
To avoid mistakes and injuries, we talk to each other and I ask colleagues to check my work. This job lets me enjoy making things and the sense of achievement it brings.

K. Deguchi
Fabrication / Plant 2
I used to work for a steel fabrication company. Plastic is lighter than steel, so it is easier on the body. I think this is a job I can keep doing as I get older.

H. Tokuda
Fabrication / Ryugasaki Office
Site work is done at height, so I wear a safety harness and take care to prevent falls. I am confident welding polyethylene, and I would like to try steel welding too.

M. Hata
Design, fabrication & installation / Plant 2
I turn customers' requests into CAD drawings and cut the shapes on the router. Seeing parts become a product is satisfying. The team is warm and easy to work with.

Y. Miyamoto
Installation / Head office
Safety comes first: I avoid shortcuts and tidy up as I go. The company has a bright atmosphere, and customers thank us, which gives a real sense of achievement.

T. Suzuki
Fabrication & installation / Plant 2
I had no experience, and this company welcomed me warmly. I am learning a trade while taking part in the manufacturing that supports Japan. It is rewarding work.

L. Nguyen

I came from Vietnam to work in Japan. I want to learn more Japanese and more of the job, and to go out on site. Everyone is kind, and I think it is a good company.

Q. Nong
Fabrication & installation / Plant 2
I came from Vietnam. The senior staff are very kind; they take me out for meals. My goal is to read a drawing and make a product myself, from start to finish.

Y. Kuninaka
Fabrication / Plant 2
I try to work carefully and quickly. I would like to take on new things. It is a family-like workplace, and I look forward to the day we work together.

R. Takahashi

05Interview

INTERVIEW 01
I started at Funabashi Jushi when a friend from my children's school asked, "Why don't you work with us?" We handle jobs such as plastic welding. I had no experience and was a little worried, but I was taught carefully from the very beginning. I think plastic welding suits people who are good with their hands.

INTERVIEW 02
The nursery calls to say my child has a fever and needs picking up, or my child catches flu. Each time I talked to my manager, and they made allowances for me. About half of the team are parents in their forties, so people understand childcare and school events, and it is easy to ask.

INTERVIEW 03
In welding, the more you want to improve, the better you get. It is a place where you can keep building your skills and work for a long time. The staff get-together, twice a year with everyone, is fun too.
